At the age of 16, I began working alongside my father, Armand, at Armand’s Auto Clinic, an auto repair shop he owned and operated in Sudbury’s “Flour Mill”.  A few years later, in 1991, father and son joined forces in a new venture, a “Partner-CHIP” called the Silver Bullet, which we purchased and opened at its current location at 593 Notre Dame Avenue.

Fast forward 27 years later, and the Silver Bullet staff can still be found lovingly serving up those Legendary burgers and fresh cut fries to our loyal customers from this very same location. Some might even say that the Silver Bullet has become a Sudbury Landmark in its own right.

The Proulx family has always made it our mission to provide Silver Bullet customers with an exceptional “chip stand” experience; mouth-watering food made with the freshest products, sourced locally, and served with a smile. Our big, juicy, burgers are hand-made with fresh ground beef every morning and those crisp, golden fries are fresh-cut all day long. We believe this consistent approach has been the cornerstone of the Silver Bullet’s success throughout the years. Simple and delicious!

Our customer’s enthusiasm is the driving force of our business! We have had the pleasure of experiencing our customer’s excitement each year as they eagerly anticipate our reopening in the spring. We look forward to seeing returning smiles and familiar faces and getting to know each and every new one. We love hearing stories of the “long-winter’s craving” for a “Bullet Burger” or “Cheesy Poutine” and we feel honoured to be a part of your family’s summer ritual.
